We would like to congratulate all of our clients who competed in the 2017-2018 wrestling season.  New Jersey is one of just 4 states that still holds a single class tournament and as a result this tournament proves to be one of the most competitive in the country every year. In a state where some of the greatest wrestlers in history such as, Lee Kemp, Gene Mills, Damion Hahn, Steve Mocco and Jordan Burroughs, just to name a few, wrestled in High School, it is easy to see and feel the intensity in the arena from the start of warm-ups on Friday through the finals on Sunday. Only the best wrestlers, with the highest level of commitment, focus and discipline are able to qualify for the event, let alone reach the podium.

This year, 59 Champion Athlete clients qualify for the NJ State High School Tournament and 20 medaled at the end of the grueling three days. Our clients represented nearly 30% of the finalists, with 8 wrestling in the finals and 4 champions.

A special congratulations goes to our seniors who caped off their career with a podium finish:  Finalists:  Mitch Polito (2nd), Patrick Glory (1st), Joe Heilmann (2nd), Jake Benner (2nd), Michael O’Malley (1st).

Place Winners:  Joseph King (5th), Richie Koehler (6th), , Dan Fongaro (5th), Travis Tavoso (6th), Joe Casey (3rd), Tim Fitzpatrick (4th), Matt Dallara (5th),
