CHAMPION ATHLETES MAKE NOISE AT NHSCA WRESTLING NATIONALS!
The NHSCA National Wrestling Championships are the official nationals recognized by state federations and is one of the most competitive Folkstyle events in the country, rivaled only by the prestigious Super 32.
We are proud to say that this year we had 8 athletes win their perspective weight class and another 19 place finishers! In the Middle School Division we had 4 Champions and 3 additional place finishers from a total of 5 different states. The future is bright for Champion Athletes and Wrestler Nutrition!
Long time member Nick Fea got things started by taking home the Freshman 113lb title. Fea, who’s previously taken home NHSCA MS National Gold and Super 32 Gold, was 7-0 for the weekend. Not giving up a single offensive point all weekend, Fea was dominate on his feet and also had a TF and MD en route to the finals.
Also taking home gold in the Freshman division was 220lber PJ Casale. PJ was completely dominate going 4-0 with all major decisions including in the finals. PJ outscored his opponents and impressive 44-4, never giving up a single offensive point.
In the Senior division Alabama’s Sam Latona continued his winning ways. The Virginia Tech commit and multiple time Fargo Champ capped off a tremendous season, taking home the 120lb title. Congratulations Sam!Congratulations to all of our Champions and All-Americans that battled this weekend. We are proud of each and every one of you!
